The Palace spokesman later distributed the text messages to reporters who were seeking Malacanang’s position on the latest incident in the West Philippine Sea. “Want the employment 400,000 Pinoy mariners to hang in the balance of the games an idiot native media likes to play? Now that’s harming their livelihoods,” said Locsin, who is currently in Thailand attending the 35th ASEAN Summit Meeting with President Rodrigo Duterte.
