It has also equipped the trainees with skills and practical experience in careers in forensic DNA analysis,” he said. Haji said the training was primarily geared to impacting knowledge to the officers on the current techniques and technologies used in forensic DNA laboratories. Haji said the training of DCI officers in forensic and DNA analysis would improve the rate of convictions in criminal cases.
