Jerevasio Njeru is said to have committed the offence at Manyatta Police Station on May 31. The woman, 42, was in custody over suspected fraud. He also faced a second count of indecently assaulting the woman by touching her private parts. Njeru arrived in court under tight security and taken straight to the dock.
