The mysterious death of an 82 year old woman has sparked conversation across various social media platforms. Retired, lonely and shunned by her immediate family, the Thika granny whose remains were discovered months after she died had sank into a pit of depression. Directorate of Criminal Investigations in Thika are now trying to unravel the circumstances under which the elderly woman met her death. It is her granddaughter, who had travelled from South Africa who discovered that she was long gone. When Ms Njeri relocated, her sons helped build the home that she has been living in before meeting her death.
