Organic growth was fuelled by the group’s DCC Energy division and was partially offset by the a decline in both DCC Healthcare and DCC Technology. DCC Technology revenues also declined by 15pc compared to the same time last year. DCC has committed around £310m to new acquisitions in DCC Energy since May this year. DCC now expects operating profit growth at the end of its financial year in March, as well as continued development activity. “We delivered strong profit growth in the first half of our financial year,” chief executive Donal Murphy said.
