Delhi Capitals opener Shikhar Dhawan was at his animated best when KXIP skipper Ravichandran Ashwin thought about ‘Mankading’ him during the two teams’ clash at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in New Delhi on Saturday. The Australian Press slammed Mankad and that is how the name for the dismissal became famous. As the spinner went back to take his run-up, Dhawan got down on one knee and looked at Ashwin. As Ashwin bowled the delivery to Shreyas Iyer, Dhawan mocked the KXIP skipper by suggesting that he was going out of the crease but his bat was inside all along. On Saturday, the home side were 141 for three at the end of the 17th over with 23 needing off 18 balls.
