The Department of Budget and Management (DBM) has released the internal revenue allotment (IRA) of Albay as the province continues to deal with the wrath of Mount Mayon. Diokno said the funds would be downloaded simultaneously to all LGUs but priority was given to Albay. As of Jan. 23, 2018, the DBM said Albay had incurred expenses totaling P21.2 million due to the calamity. The DBM said national government agencies (NGAs) continued to monitor the situation in Albay and to provide relief and assistance.
