DBKL orders three businesses shut for SOP volitions


THREE businesses were ordered to close by the Kuala Lumpur City Hall's (DBKL) enforcement arm during its Ops Patuh inspection operations from July 16 to 22 at 11 parliamentary constituencies. “Ten notices were issued to business owners under Act 342 (Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases) for SOP violations. “DBKL also sealed three businesses under Section 101(1)(v) of the Local Government Act 1976 involved in vice activities and seized several articles from the premises involved.”DBKL had also conducted raids and seizures on unlicensed foreign traders during the same period. A further 38 notices were issued for various offences under the Local Government Act 1976 and DBKL’s bylaws. “Ops Patuh will be conducted from time to time until the end of the NRP.
