DB Breweries is replacing some of its Tui beer after customers complained of a sulphur-like smell and taste. However, the company says the “off” batch of beer is still safe to drink. A DB spokesperson told NZME a problem had been identified with some of its Tui kegs last week. Supplied The Tui Brewery at Mangatainoka is a popular destination for fans of the beer. After the business was sold to Heineken-owned DB several years, the Mangatainoka facility went through a significant downsizing, with the loss of 24 jobs.
