DAP told to provide details of those involved in re-election process

PETALING JAYA: Former DAP national vice-chairman, Tunku Abdul Aziz Tunku Ibrahim has challenged the party to have in place, independent observers to monitor the party’s Central Executive Committee (CEC) re-election process. Tunku Abdul Aziz said DAP members have every right to demand for the publication of such key information, as an assurance that the forthcoming CEC re-election will be held in accordance with the conditions prescribed by the RoS. “DAP must hold the re-election as soon as possible because they are wasting time and coming up with excuses, that looks to me like delay tactics. According to Tunku Abdul Aziz, DAP members were extremely upset during the last re-election, claiming they could see very clearly that they were cheated of a clean and fair election. “They (DAP leaders) had used every possible excuse to delay compliance for as long as they could.
