KUALA LUMPUR: When Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad announced the first phase of his cabinet members nomination, conspicously missing from the list was veteran DAP leader, Lim Kit Siang. However, a China Press report today quoted him as saying that he had declined any position in the new Cabinet. "The DAP has enough talent in the new cabinet (Cabinet) queue," he said after attending an appreciation programme in Skudai, Johor. Lim said that despite declining to be named as a minister, Lim assured that he will continue to push for reforms to create a better Malaysia. Dr Mahathir earlier announced that the initial Cabinet involving major ministries and would be followed by other ministries.
