On the face of it, amid all this local government politicking, the plan for a spanking new 25,000-seater stadium looks impressive. Not only are Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes and chairman Stewart Milne into the scheme, but so too is club legend Willie Miller, who believes the new stadium “could be terrific for the club” while pointing out its proximity to the new Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route [AWPR] which is currently under construction.
