Wizard of the Coast just announced that Dungeons and Dragons is creating their own 5th edition digital tool-sets by partnering with Curse. This will give players access to a character builder, rules compendium, online character sheets and more official digital content for the first time. This initially looks to be more of a table-top aid for players but could easily grow into something more. This could potentially also allow people who play the game online via Skype to have a quicker and more cohesive experience.
