Cork great Dónal Óg Cusack turned up the dial on the Munster Championship opener between Tipperary and Cork by suggesting nobody "rises or falls faster than Tipperary". Speaking on Allianz League Sunday on RTÉ, Cusack said: "I think of Tipperary as All-Ireland champions and nobody rising or falling as fast in my experience of being a hurling person. "As long as I’m involved in hurling, I think they can rise very fast, but they also fall faster than anybody else. "And Waterford, the likes of the Bennetts, great great players, really important to hurling. Cusack also took exception to the idea that Tipperary are coming into this championship unheralded, despite being champions.
