Cyrille Regis' funeral will be held at the end of the month after the former West Brom striker died on Sunday. The 59-year-old passed away suddenly at the weekend and his private funeral will be on Tuesday, January 30, the Baggies have announced. Regis' funeral cortege will leave The Hawthorns at 8.45am on January 30 and the club are making plans to accommodate fans who wish to pay their respects before it leaves. Premier League clubs will also hold a minute's applause for the former England international at games over the weekend. But following a backlash the Premier League confirmed clubs will pay tribute to Regis, who was recognised as a pioneer for black players.
