Police have named the cyclist killed near Dannevirke on Sunday. The cyclist who died following a serious crash near Dannevirke on the weekend was Geoffrey Buchanan. Police were alerted to the crash involving a vehicle and a bicycle on Weber Rd at 4.45pm on Sunday. Buchanan, 57, was from Dannevirke. His funeral will be held at St John the Baptist church in Dannevirke on Friday.
