Photo: Gregor RichardsonA cyclist has suffered serious injuries after being hit by a truck in central Dunedin this afternoon. A police spokesman said they were called to the collision at the corner of Castle St and St Andrew St, on SH1 heading south, about 3.45pm. A St John spokesman said the cyclist was taken to Dunedin Hospital emergency department with serious injuries. The bicycle was damaged by the collision and by 4pm the cyclist had been taken to Dunedin Hospital.
