A cyclist was taken to hospital to be checked after a crash in New Plymouth. A cyclist was taken to Taranaki Base Hospital to be checked after a crash with a vehicle on Wednesday afternoon. A police spokesperson said they were called to Bayly Rd, New Plymouth, just before 3pm. Initial reports indicated one lane was blocked, but as of 3.30pm the road was clear.
