CD Projekt RedHowever, Hollywood heavyweights, vast open worlds, and cool cybernetic body mods aside, the game engine technology Cyberpunk 2077 employs also seems to be something special as well. In CDPR’s E3 2019 cinematic demo, we’re treated to cut scenes from the game engine. Not to mention, major game engine platforms like Unity and Unreal Engine have announced support as well. Moving forward, ray tracing in games will only build momentum, as new blockbuster titles like Cyberpunk 2077 are set to arrive early next year.
