From in­fants to the elderly, everyone is en­tangled in the allure of social me­dia, shaping and reshaping our lives. While it serves as a fount of knowledge, awareness, and enter­tainment, social media has prov­en to be a destructive tool with far-reaching consequences. This destructive tool in the hands of ma­licious actors has far-reaching con­sequences, eroding the fabric of trust and safety. Children, too, fall prey to so­cial media’s negative influence, aimlessly scrolling through sites, squandering precious time, and compromising their social skills.
