MANILA, Philippines—President Rodrigo Duterte has given Secretary Catalino Cuy a fresh mandate to lead the Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB). According to the DDB, Duterte signed Cuy’s reappointment on Jan. 21. Malacañang, however, has yet to release a copy of his appointment paper as of posting time. The DDB said Cuy’s reappointment will sustain the implementation of the Philippine Anti-Illegal Drugs Strategy or PADS. The reappointment paper of Cuy was received by DDB on Thursday, the agency added.
