Assistant Director Md Tarek Mahmud said the cars-- an SUV and a sedan-- were seized late on Wednesday at the port city's Muradnagar. Duty has to be paid if they are not taken out of the country after the facility expires. The seizures were made after Bangladesh Road Transport Authority confirmed that the car’s documents were forged, said Customs officer Mahmud. He said the estimated price of the cars, including the duty, would be around Tk 45 million. One Md Mansur Ali brought the SUV in 2011 while the sedan in 2010 by one Ashraful Alam.
