By Michael DabaieCurtiss-Wright Corp. said it would acquire Safran Aerosystems Arresting Co. for $240 million in cash. SAA is a designer and manufacturer of aircraft emergency arresting systems and currently sells into more than 70 countries, said Curtiss-Wright, which provides products and services to aerospace and defense and commercial markets.
