More than 600 guests attended the ceremony, including shadow Brexit Secretary Sir Keir Starmer and British-Bangladeshi MP Rushanara Ali. Curry Life Magazine Editor Syed Belal Ahmed said the industry managed to grow 'despite being hit hard by several recessions.'
