Curiosity surrounds over delay of COVID-19 results in Sindh
Sindh Health Department hasn't released coronavirus lab updates in past 36 hoursKARACHI: The Sindh government’s delay in updating the provincial tally of coronavirus cases stirred curiosity among the media on Sunday. Several journalists complained about their efforts to acquire fresh results from the health department authorities going in vain. Acknowledging the outbreak as a serious issue two days ago, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah had warned that the number of cases were increasing exponentially. The opposition parties in Sindh went so far as to allege that the provincial government was hiding the facts. Hours after The Express Tribune‘s report on the delay, the Sindh government released COVID-19 lab update in a tweet by Murtaza Wahab.
