Briefcase 1 Justice Kirubakaran wants ban on tobacco sale within 100 yards of schools. This time against shops selling tobacco products within a hundred yards of an educational institution, especially schools. Though school going kids are not much into smoking cigarettes, they indulge in using other forms of tobacco products like tobacco leaves soaked in chlorine. He advised the authorities to immediately constitute special teams to conduct surprise raids on shops near schools and if anyone is caught selling tobacco products to an underage kid, severe punishment should be imposed. Justice Kirubakaran concluded the issue by saying that it was time to sensitize parents and children about the ill effects of tobacco.
