Such behaviour is "unacceptable" and reflects immaturity, particularly in the lead-up to elections, the rights commission warned on Wednesday. Another involved a well-known singer-actor who posted vulgar, sexually suggestive comments on social media targeting a female candidate from the Thai Sang Thai Party. Public figures, the NHRC added, bear an added responsibility to act as role models, given their influence on social attitudes.
