Seinfeld creator Larry David stars as an exaggerated version of himself in Curb Your Enthusiasm, which last aired in 2011. The comedy is returning for a ninth season, the network announced Tuesday. HBO just gave Curb Your Enthuasism fans some pretty good news. “In the immortal words of Julius Caesar, ‘I left, I did nothing, I returned,’” David said in HBO’s statement, which did not include premiere dates for the new season. Rumours have long swirled about additional seasons for the show, but David has had a resurgence of late, making recurring appearances as a curmudgeonly Bernie Sanders on Saturday Night Live.
