Cumming could not be reached for comment yesterday so it is hard to gauge his level of interest. He has a good job as the director of sport at Otago Boys’ High School and his son, Jacob, is not too far off making the team. It can be difficult to be objective if a family member is involved so that is likely to be a consideration for Cumming if he does decide to apply.
