“The Culture Ministry’s Office of Contemporary Art and Culture is gearing up to implement the national policy of Thailand 4.0 by adding value to the famous tourist destination Krabi with the contemporary art biennale,” said Culture Ministry Vira Rojpojchanarat. Thailand Biennale 2018 will be held from November 2, 2018 to February 28, 2019. “Thailand Biennale, Krabi 2018 is not curated to present traditional forms of artwork, but rather, it encourage creative strategies and innovative practices for site-specific installations beyond the venues of art museums and galleries. While Thailand Biennale is co-hosted by the government, Bangkok Art Biennale is mainly funded by the private sector. The BAB is parts of the “Amazing Thailand Tourism Year 2018” campaign conducted by the Tourism Authority of Thailand.
