Development projects can displace communities from their ancestral lands or disrupt their traditional ways of life. However, its construction displaced thousands of tribal and marginalized communities from their ancestral lands, disrupting their traditional livelihoods and cultural practices[3]. This is how cultural foods are being replaced as a result of development.
