SERDANG: The Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry Ministry is looking at establishing a department that focuses on culinary developments and innovations. "Currently, culinary developments are being done mainly by individuals. If we have a specific department for this (culinary developments), we will be able to develop our chefs, food and its varieties as well as the way it is presented. Meanwhile on the HPPNK, Shabery said it received sponsorhip worth RM3.1 million from private sector and agencies. Also to be held concurrently with HPPNK are the Malaysia Food Festival (MFF) and Livestock Malaysia 2017.
