Pineda limited the White Sox to one run and four hits while walking one and striking out eight to help the Twins even the three-game series. He recovered to strike out James McCann en route to setting down 10 of the next 12 White Sox. Ivan Nova took the loss, allowing four runs and seven hits in six innings with one walk and four strikeouts. The Twins have won four of five meetings with the White Sox this season, with each victory coming by seven runs.
