It’s not unusual for cruise ships to make an itinerary change even after a sailing is underway. Cruise contracts typically stipulate that the cruise line has sole discretion to change an itinerary with no obligation to financially compensate the passengers for any inconvenience. “Please note that we are not able to comment on pending legal matters at this time,” said Crystal Cruises’ statement.
