Organisers of the demonstration at Glasgow Green wrote: “At the demonstration, inscribe your names on your arms. A powerful visual call for justice, emphasising shared responsibility. Demonstrations have taken place each weekend since the conflict started, in Edinburgh, Glasgow, and as far away as Lerwick, Shetland. The Gaza Genocide Emergency Committee said Saturday’s demonstration is intended “to show politicians we mean it when we say we want a ceasefire now”. The demonstration starts at 1pm and is organised by a variety of organisations including the Muslim Council of Scotland, the Muslim Association of Britain, Scottish Palestine Solidarity Campaign and Palestine Action Scotland.
