Feel of Malayalam: Volunteers wear T-shirts with lines from Malayalam poems at Krithi International Book Fair in Kochi on Friday. | Photo Credit: Thulasi Kakkatmore-inVyloppilli Sreedhara Menon’s Kakka (Crow) which embodies freedom, friendliness, and cleanliness has struck a chord with book lovers of Krithi International Book Fair - 2018 as its logo. Created using lines from the iconic poem by Vyloppilli, the crow was suggested for the logo by filmmaker Shaji N. Karun. Students of Additional Skill Acquisition Programme who are volunteers of the fest go about in their special T-shirts with quotes and stanzas from famous Malayalam poems and World literary texts adoring their back. The branding of the fest, with the literary crow as its logo, is complete with billboards announcing the programmes catching the attention of passers-by in several parts of the city.
