Croke Park in Dublin is to become a vaccination centre with 10 booths, and will open from May. The HSE confirmed yesterday that there will be two vaccination centres in the north city area, including Croke Park GAA stadium, with the other the Helix in Dublin City University (DCU). The vaccination centre at DCU will have 48 booths and the immediate priority is to establish full capacity at this centre. Croke Park, which will have a capacity of 10 booths, will open during May. Along with being the first that requires just a single injection rather than two, the Johnson & Johnson vaccine is easier to store.
