WADATTA, a suburb of Makurdi was thrown into another chaos on Sunday night when youths engaged security men in a shoot out. Police Public Relation Officer, PPRO confirmed but said that the people were cult members who gathered in the area but were being dispersed by security men. The Nigerian Tribune gathered that the youths had gathered in a particular place with the intention of causing havoc which necessitated policemen and soldiers to engage them. The youths were said to have started forming crowd around 8:00 pm which made resident of the area to alert security men. A resident of the area who spoke to our correspondent said the sporadic shooting was still going on as at 9.00 pm.
