Homelessness is the most pressing crisis facing this government. The latest report from the Department of Housing shows that more than 5,500 adults and 3,333 children had to access emergency accommodation serviceslast month, including 1,530 families. Overall the numbers are up by 4 per cent from October, with an additional 365 people accessing emergency accommodation.
