Share TweetBy Jeffrey DamicogCriminal complaints were filed Wednesday before the Department of Justice (DOJ) against three persons allegedly involved in illegal recruitment after the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) rescued 36 of their victims. The three, Flor Bongcawel, Lorena Francisco, and Joseline Banoza, were identified as employees of the JIMC International Agency. The two complainants were among 36 persons rescued by the NBI from JIMC’s four-storey accommodation building in Caloocan City last Nov. 21. The NBI had already verified with the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) that “the JIMC International Manpower Agency, is not licensed/authorized to recruit workers for overseas employment.”
