Criminal Court sentences GECOL employees to 10 years in prison


The Criminal Court has sentenced six employees of the General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL) to ten years in prison and fined them 1,466,852 dinars, on charges of stealing company equipment and supplies, according to the Public Prosecutor’s Office. The Public Prosecutor’s Office said in a brief statement that the court dealt with the theft of components of the electrical supply network and then ruled the six defendants.
