Grimstone is studying accounting at Victoria University in Wellington, which will stand him in good stead to make the most of his windfall. Grimstone becomes the second person to successfully meet the criteria of Tui's one-handed catch promotion this summer. Dunedin builder Craig Dougherty became the first during the one-day match against Pakistan in Dunedin on January 13.
