SportFor the 16th consecutive year, the annual Royal College Cricket Carnival (RCCC) will be held on Sunday (9) at the Bloomfield Cricket ground, Reid Avenue, from 8.00am onwards. Organised by the Royal College Group of 2001, this Old Boy’s Inter-Batch 6-a-side Cricket Tournament is an annual gathering of all former Royal College students. A popular date on the Old Royalists' social calendar, the RCCC brings together merriment and camaraderie, while affording old Royalists an opportunity to lend a helping hand to a worthy Royal cause. Last year, with the excess funds collected, the RCCC Project donated an international, Olympic standard, high-quality diving board worth over Rs. 1.8 million to Royal College.
