SportThe Company of Master Marines of Sri Lanka (CMM) led by Nandika Peiris scored a thrilling two run victory over Engineers led by Chaminda de Silva at the 11th Annual Master Marines and Marine Engineers 2016 cricket encounter at the Bloomfield ground. In this fun filled day, the main event was the match between the young engineers and CMM Members was followed by a Seniors match, Children's match and the wives of the association's match. The event was sponsored by DNV-GL, Thanthri Marine, Reederei Noord Group and Lloyd's Registry. Samantha Perera of CMM was adjudged the Best Batsman while Nandika Ratnasiri and Samantha Perera were the winners of Best Bowler and Man-of-the-Final awards respectively. The Children's match was won by CMM and the Ladies match was won by Engineers.
