SportThe Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has terminated its contract with Ruwan Kalpage after failing to report to duty according to international reports. It is reported that the BCB has terminated the contract of assistant coach Kalpage after he failed to turn up for work by August 16. The coaching staff of the Bangladesh cricket team, consisting of foreigners, had made concerns over their safety in the country's capital Dhaka. Kalpage joined the Bangladesh coaching staff as assistant coach on a two-year contract in August 2014, after the appointments of Hathurusingha and Villawarayan and were given extension until the 2019 World Cup. Kalpage was the head coach of Bangladesh's National Cricket Academy from 2008 to 2010.
