In an explosive report published by CNN on Thursday, eight women came forward accusing actor Morgan Freeman of sexual harassment, while another eight said they had witnessed said behaviour. One account came from a production assistant who worked on the set of the 2017 film Going in Style. She said Freeman would often comment on her body and clothing, and rub her back, several times trying to lift up her skirt and asking if she was wearing underwear. During one particular incident, she recalled, “(Co-star Alan Arkin) made a comment telling him to stop. All of the women said they never reported him because they were afraid of losing their jobs.
