Students in the Acting Up program at Community Players will take the stage in “Create Your Own Oz” this weekend. Associate Artistic Director Noelle McVicar said this is a take on the “Wizard of Oz.”“This is a take on the 'Wizard of Oz' that incorporates audience participation,” she said. “That’s a really fun component of the production,” she said. “Our characters are generic yellow brick road characters also have some unique quirks that is really fun. Approximately 28 students, grades 5-8, are enrolled in the Acting Up program with around 32 youth involved in the production.
