Fishers have found debris believed to be from a Coast Guard plane that crashed in central Vietnam last month, police in Thanh Hoa Province have said. The defense ministry believes the plane was flying at low altitude when it crashed due to bad weather. The wreckage was collected by two fishing ships in waters near Bach Long Vi Island between Jul. 16 in the Tonkin Gulf while looking for a pilot of a fighter aircraft that had crashed two days earlier. Search teams have found and retrieved eight bodies of the crew, as well as the black boxes.
