A crash this morning on the N4 is causing delays on the approach to Dublin. The crash took place right at the entrance to the N4 westbound with traffic building on approach. It comes amidst a status orange rain warning for Dublin with Met Éireann warning of spells of very heavy rain falling on already saturated ground combined with high river levels and high tides. Motorists are being advised to take care on journeys due to possible localised flooding, river flooding, with potential impacts along the entire course of the river and difficult travel conditions. The orange warning is valid from 12pm today until midday on Friday, February 6.
