HOLLISTER (KSBW) — The four people killed Sunday when their Tesla collided with a big rig on a highway near Hollister were a Carmel Valley woman and her three children. All four people in the Tesla were killed; the truck driver suffered minor injuries. An email sent to families in the Carmel Unified School District contained the same information, the TV station said. All three children attended Carmel Middle School and had previously been at Tularcitos Elementary in Carmel Valley, the email said. The CHP report, however, said the Tesla was in the eastbound lane, meaning it was heading toward Casa de Fruta.
